For the third toy of Christmas, Eric recommends....

Karito Kids

Karito Kids dolls are a fantastic line of dolls by KidsGive that help teach children about charity and giving back to others.  These dolls are fabulous!  Made of non-phthalate vinyl with 1/3 vinyl breastplate for fashion sensibility and 2/3 soft body torso to maintain the nurture nature of a doll.  Each Karito Kid is accompanied by a wonderful book chronicling an adventure where experiences of social responsibility and charity are embraced.  KidsGive’s mission is to raise global awareness among our youth, teaching them about children around the world and exposing them to the importance of social responsibility and charitable giving.  Through the purchase of each Karito Kids product, 3% of sales will be donated to Plan USA, a worldwide children’s charity.  By entering a special code (found on every product) on the company website, children will be able to select the charitable cause to which the donation will be directed.  By directly tying together the purchase of any Karito Kids doll with the support of children’s charities, KidsGive will teach a generation of children at a young age what charitable giving really means.

Online shoppers can find Karito Kids on Amazon.com.

I vote for this toy. The idea behind the dolls is great. We should always want to teach or kids to be better people and this toy is a great tool for that.

I vote for this toy. My daughter loves dolls and I like the diversity of these dolls. I like the previous reviewers idea of donating to Toys for Tots. There are so many that go without this year. What a great caring idea!

I am voting for the Karito Kids dolls because all girls love dolls and we all could learn a lesson about giving this holiday season. I really love that I could teach my daughter a lesson about giving back to charity with the purchase/winning of this doll. If I win this doll, I will donate it to Toys For Tots to make someone else's holiday brighter this season. I hope that if I do not win, the winner reads my review and donates this toy/winning toy as well.

I vote for this one. Any toy that can also convey values has an edge for me. Most of the dolls for young girls seem to have too much attitude or are too "sexy" for young children.

This is my favorite toy!! I have a daughter and I love that the doll is diverse. The dolls are not revealing like Bratz dolls or Barbie. I love that the child can donate to a charity of her choice because this allows children to make a difference in another persons life. Although its a little pricey I will still purchase it.

This is getting my favorite vote! My daughter asked for a doll from Santa this year and this one seems perfect. Not only are they a cute doll with fun clothes, but it is great that money will go toward a charity and that we can teach her about it through going to the website to choose the charity as well as reading the story that comes with the doll! LOVE THIS IDEA!!

I am voting for this toy as my favorite one. When I was a kid I love playing with dolls and played with them till I was thirteen. I have a girl who I am sure will love this doll. I love that these dolls look like the dolls from my childhood.

This is my favorite. I have a son so I have not purchased this doll. However I have a niece that I think would love it. I first saw this item in Toysetcetera a few months ago. The dolls are very attractive and what drew me to them was how diverse they were culturally and in regards to ethnic background. Every little girl should have a doll that they can identify with. I also like their attire. I detest how cheap and garish some of these popular dolls are dressed and painted with tons of makeup, for example Bratz. That's a horrible example for young girls. Karito dolls also encourages education through reading the accompanying novels. And the icing on the cake is that you know that part of the proceeds from your purchase goes to a worthwhile charity. These dolls may be a little pricey but i'd rather patronize this brand as opposed to competitors like American Girl because of this company's mission. Kudos Karito.

This is definitely my favorite- a little girl dream to have a doll but also allows them to give to a charity of their choice. It gives my a choice and voice- very important for young girls. Letting children know they are making a difference in someone's life is very important. We love this doll.
