Advertising Opportunities

All of our advertising opportunities are accessible through your business member account, so sign up under "Promote Your Business" or login to take advantage of them. Banner ads, the contest and polls are available to any business - you do not have to have a business member account with us. Business members are able to view our advertising rate sheet from their business member account. Basic Listing - Includes link to your website, contact information, and short descriptive text. You may also include unlimited events with your listing. For example, a restaurant may have a certain day of the week when kids eat free; this can be highlighted in our Dining Deals Calendar. Or, a retail store might host a happy hour party for moms to shop and socialize; this can be highlighted on our Events Calendar. Cost: Free

Additional Photos - You may include up to 4 photos in your listing. Sign up or login to your business account and click on the Business Photos link. If you do not have a business account but would like to list your kid-friendly activity or business, click on the "Sign up today!" link.

Featured Listing - Highlight your business with featured placement in the center of the appropriate section home page (i.e., Ongoing Activities, Events, Restaurants, Shopping or Services). Sign up or login to your business account and click on the Featured Listing link. If you do not have a business account but would like to list your kid-friendly activity or business, click on the "Sign up today!" link.

Coupons - Include a coupon that visitors can print. Coupons are fast and easy to create within your business account. Your listing will contain an icon that indicates you have a coupon available. Sign up or login to your business account and click on the Add Coupon link. If you do not have a business account but would like to list your kid-friendly activity or business, click on the "Sign up today!" link.

E-Ad Letter - Targeted marketing opportunity! Stop wasting postage and trees! Have your coupon or notice of your sale / promotion delivered via email to those members who request this information. There are 8 spots available in the E-Ad Letter, and distribution will occur at least every 4-6 weeks. Sign up or login to your business account and click on the Business E-Ad Letter link. If you do not have a business account but would like to list your kid-friendly activity or business, click on the "Sign up today!" link.

Banner Advertising - There are several banner-advertising opportunities. The home page and each of the main section pages have 3 top and 3 bottom banner ads of two different sizes. The banner ad will link to your website. Click on the Banner Advertising link to place your banner ad with us. You will be able to see the pricing and ad size before you sign up. Banner ads cycle through each position. Multiple ads can be purchased to increase your ad’s exposure.

Cost: $30-$200 / month (depending on ad location).

Poll - Gather valuable market research! You can place a poll on our home page or on any of the 5 section (i.e., Ongoing Activities Events, Restaurants, Shopping or Services) home pages. The poll can run for any number of weeks. Sign up or login to your business account and click on the Poll link. If you do not have a business account but would like to list your kid-friendly activity or business, click on the Basic Listing link and sign up. If you do not have, or care to have, a business member account with us but would still like to poll our community, click on the Send Us Feedback link to send us an email.

Contest Prize - You can supply the prize for our monthly contest (Members are entered into a drawing for each review they submit and/or kid-friendly place they suggest). It must have a value of at least $70 and be valid for a year. The contest section will contain a description of the prize and the business offering the prize. The information will be posted for one month. The winner and a brief description of the prize will be posted for the following month.
